Imogen Alabaster

Born in 1984 in London and grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Imogen graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2006, with a BA (Hons) in Drawing and Painting. She still lives and works in the city, where she recently found a studio in which to continue painting, with the aim to exhibit work in galleries around Edinburgh. She has a painting on permanent display at the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

Through the use of subtle abstracted portraits and text pieces Imogen hopes to explore her relationships to those closest to her, and connect with viewers – sharing with them her insecurities and dreams.
